QuantGeeks for Claude and ChatGPT
QuantGeeks connects to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard way for an assistant to look things up in another service. Add QuantGeeks once, then ask in plain language about gamma exposure, the day's regime, the webinar schedule or the regime reads, and the answer comes from QuantGeeks inside your conversation.
Regime reads
Throughout the trading day, QuantGeeks reads the live gamma landscape for SPX, SPY and QQQ and posts a regime read: a market bias, the pivot levels, a thesis and the level that would prove it wrong. At 16:15 ET an end-of-day recap closes the day. On the desk they are the Reads.
The reads are written by Joule, QuantGeeks' AI market analyst. Every read is graded after the close against what price actually did: a hit, a miss, a partial or evolved. The grades and the recap's numbers are computed from market data, not written by the model, so you can see how often the reads are right.
Add it in Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste the server URL:
Claude asks you to sign in with your QuantGeeks account, then works in every chat. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to allow it first.
In Claude Code, run:
claude mcp add --transport http quantgeeks https://data.quantgeeks.net/mcp
Add it in ChatGPT
Follow OpenAI's help for adding connectors (search for connectors) and give it the same server URL.
ChatGPT asks you to sign in with your QuantGeeks account when it needs one. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow it first.
What it does
- Shows a name's Active Levels, the way the desk's Active Levels widget does: the strikes that matter, their gamma exposure, distance from price, touches, the first-hour range, and the latest regime read's role for each level
- Gives the regime reads (bias, levels and thesis, throughout the trading day) and the graded end-of-day recap
- Reads the strike-by-strike GEX ladder around spot, and the option chain with GEX columns
- Gives the QuantGeeks readings, one-minute and daily bars, and the last price
- Lists the names covered, with the market status, early closes and holidays
- Finds the next webinar, its join link when it is time, and past recordings
- Tells you who is signed in and what your account includes
Every answer says which tier it came from, and how far it is delayed.

What it is not
The connector is read-only. It cannot trade, place orders or change your account, and it cannot see your billing details. Market data and analytics for information only. Not investment advice. An assistant's summary of QuantGeeks data can be wrong, and trading options and futures involves substantial risk of loss. Read the Risk disclosure.
Your data
QuantGeeks receives each request your assistant makes (which tool, for which symbol, date and time) under your account. Everything a tool returns goes to the AI provider you chose, as part of your conversation, and that provider's policy covers it from there. How long we keep a connection and what we record are in our Privacy Policy. Using QuantGeeks data through your own assistant is personal use under our Terms.
Limits and disconnecting
Without signing in: 30 requests a minute and 100 tool calls a day per IP address (calls through Claude, ChatGPT and Meta are not limited this way). A free account: 10 a minute and 200 a day. Pro: 20 a minute, 300 an hour and 1,500 a day. You can connect up to 3 assistants. If an answer is truncated, it says so. A plan change reaches a connected assistant within about ten minutes.
To disconnect, open your account menu in the QuantGeeks console, find Connected AI assistants and choose Disconnect. Its access ends at once, and at the latest within ten minutes. You can also remove the connector in the assistant's own settings.
Troubleshooting
- The assistant says a tool does not exist.
- Assistants keep the tool list from when you connected. Disconnect QuantGeeks in the assistant and add it again.
- Answers say "delayed".
- You are not signed in, or your account has no plan. Sign in when the assistant asks; a 7-day free trial unlocks everything live.
- There is no webinar join link.
- The join link appears from 30 minutes before a session.
- "Too many requests".
- You reached a limit (above). Wait a minute and ask again.
- Anything else.
